During the spring & summer of 2019, the RCARA set up an APRS digipeater and the Tri-State Area's first Winlink RMS gateway. Established by club president Chris Straiton (N4TNA) the equipment is located at our club's tower site offering an easy way to pass traffic and information in an emergency situation.

The APRS digipeater operates under the SSID KG4DVE-1 on 144.390 MHz using an Alinco DR-135T and a Microsat WX3in1 interface.

The Winlink RMS gateway uses Winlink Packet under the SSID KG4DVE-11 on 144.940 MHz using an Alinco DR-135T and a RIM-Lite USB interface.
